You haven't found the right offer in our internal training catalogue? With Semigator, you'll find exactly the training you need. Here you will find an extensive selection of classroom and online training courses from many subject areas.‍

For employees who do not have access to our internal purchasing system, it is possible to search for and forward the desired seminar offer to an authorised person via a guest account.

You can keep an eye on everything via your personal account. You know the status of your current booking and have an overview of your training courses from the past.

Thanks to the self-service functions, you can manage, rebook or cancel your booking yourself at any time.

One process for everything

If your desired seminar is not available in the Semigator catalogue, you can have the Semigator Service Team make it available for booking on the platform. This does not affect the booking process or integration into the internal procurement process.

With access to the purchasing system

Start from our purchasing system

You must always start the Semigator platform from our internal purchasing system SAP. Log in to SAP with your own user login data and select transaction ME51N ‘Create purchase requisition’.

Starting from the purchasing system is the prerequisite for establishing a connection between the two systems. This is the only way to ensure that the booking can be transferred back to the shopping basket in the purchasing system at the end.

One-time registration & login

When you are redirected to the Semigator platform for the first time, you will land on the registration page. This initial registration is necessary to create a personal account for you, in which your contact details and all bookings that you make are saved and documented in the long term.

After the registration, you will always be forwarded directly to the homepage of your account without having to authenticate again.

Your homepage

On the start page you can begin your search for seminars by entering a desired title, search term or the organiser you are looking for in the search slot.

At the top of the page you will find the manual with lots of further information on searching, booking, making enquiries or the self-service functions.

Guest account

Login to guest account

You can use guest access to log in to the Semigator platform and search for a suitable event yourself among the almost 60,000 offers in the Semigator catalogue.

Homepage

You can start your search in the Semigator catalogue on the guest account homepage by entering a title, a keyword or the name of the desired organiser in the search slot.

Search result list

The search results list provides you with all matching results for your search query for providers and offers that are available for your company.

You can use the filters on the left-hand side to further narrow down and optimise the search results.

Once you have found a suitable offer, click on the Details button to access the detailed view.

Detail view

In the detailed view you will find a lot more information about the offer, such as the content and learning objectives.

Once you have finally decided in favour of the offer, please read the instructions in the box How do I proceed? Here you can find out how to forward the offer to a person authorised to order for you.

Important note: The person authorised to order will receive a link by e-mail with which they can call up and book the offer. If you have already selected a specific date, be sure to click on the date in advance and go to the next page to avoid any queries, as this will generate the link to the desired date.

If you click on the Forward event by e-mail button, the e-mail will open directly with a direct link to the event offer.

All you have to do is enter the recipient and sign.

Please note that by sending this e-mail, you are also confirming your manager's consent.

What happens after booking on Semigator?

Nach der Buchung eines Kurses auf der Semigator-Plattform werden Sie zu Ihrem SAP-System weitergeleitet. Bitte überprüfen Sie dort Ihren Warenkorb, ergänzen Sie ggf. die Kostenstelle und geben Sie Ihre Bestellanforderung frei. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Ihre Buchung von Semigator erst bearbeitet wird, wenn eine verbindliche Bestellung aus dem SAP-System eingegangen ist.

How can I change my contact details?

To update your contact details, go to ‘My account’ on your start page. Here you will find your current contact details, which you can change if necessary.

What do I do if I can't find the training I want in the Semigator catalogue?

If you cannot find the desired offer in the Semigator catalogue, you can search for a suitable option via other channels (e.g. Google). Once you have found a suitable offer, please do not book it directly with the organiser. Instead, submit an enquiry on Semigator by going to ‘My account’ > ‘My enquiries’ > ‘Start enquiry’.

The Semigator service team will usually make the offer available on the platform within the next two working days and inform you by e-mail. The booking, ordering and invoicing processes remain unaffected by this and continue to follow the intended internal procedures.

What does the status ‘Reserved’ and the status ‘Waiting list’ mean?

Waiting list:

The organiser has expressly confirmed that you are on the waiting list for the event.

Reserved:

The organiser has given a confirmation of reservation or receipt or indicated a ‘non-binding confirmation of registration’. This means that the event is not yet guaranteed to take place.

How do I know the status of my enquiry and booking?

You can view the status of your enquiries and bookings at any time on the Semigator platform.

Explanation of the booking status:

Awaiting approval: Your booking has been successfully transferred to your SAP procurement system, but Semigator has not yet received a binding order. Please check whether your shopping basket has been filled in correctly or whether the order is still in the internal approval workflow.

Availability check: Semigator has received your binding order from your SAP procurement system and is now checking availability with the organiser. This process can take some time. You will be informed by e-mail as soon as the organiser has confirmed your registration.

Booking confirmed: The organiser has confirmed your registration and you can take part. You will receive an e-mail from the organiser with confirmation of your registration and further information.

Can I cancel or rebook my participation? Will this result in costs?

Yes, you can change or completely cancel your booking using the self-service functions available on the platform.To change or cancel a booking:

1. go to ‘My account’ > ‘My bookings’.

2. select the booking you wish to change and click on ‘Details’.

3. under ‘Participant details’ you will find the available options for changing or cancelling your booking.

4. Inform your contact person in purchasing about the cancellation.

Please note:

  • Changes via self-service are only possible after the organiser has confirmed your registration for the training. Bookings with the status ‘Awaiting approval’ or ‘Availability check’ cannot be changed. Complete cancellations of the booking are already possible at this time.
  • Only one process can be started at a time. Further changes are not possible during an ongoing process
  • The cancellation or rebooking of your training is covered by the Semigator service fee. There are no additional costs, but the service fee remains in place even in the event of changes or cancellations
  • Depending on the time of cancellation, fees may apply in accordance with the organiser's general terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are often included in the registration confirmation. If you are unsure about cancellation fees, please contact the Semigator service team in advance at cs@semigator.de.

Why do we pay a service fee?

By using Semigator, we fulfil the current requirements for the procurement of training and save costs within the company. Throughout the entire procurement process, from booking, processing and service to invoicing and payment, internal expenses are otherwise incurred that Semigator can handle more economically.

This makes the costs calculable and transparent.
